I intend this blog to be a place where I mostly make posts that refer to my vocation as a teacher of missiology and Methodism, but no doubt there will be other themes which emerge here as well from time to time.  Students, of course, are warmly encouraged to join in the conversation!

Since 2026, I work at Saint Paul School of Theology in Leawood, Kansas (suburban Kansas City). I previously served at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis (2024-2026), Seattle Pacific University (2021-2024), George Fox University (2016-2020) and Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University (2005-2016). I am an ordained deacon in the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church.
